Hello everybody, the site is finally back online!!! I've got lots to share from the past little bit.

First thing I'll share for now is that I've been playing around a lot with ppooll a really cool DSP based off of Max patches. I found out about it from this lecture from Tim Hecker.

It's a really fun program because it's really easy to make beautiful, strange sounds. Here are a few patches from the past couple of weeks (these are not mastered so beware in big volume changes):

My favorite module from ppooll so far is gg.rainer. You can see two gg.rainers in the below screenshot from one of my patches:

gg.rainer is described by the ppooll startup guide as a "granular sample player". There are really cool controls for pitch, playback speed, and grain size. It's fairly simple but you can get so many different sounds out of it.

Anyways, lots more fun stuff to come. I have a goal this year to make 100 things on 100 different days of the year, and I'll be posting as many of them as I can here. Until then, enjoy some of these random photos.
